Mayors Welcome!

 Mayor's Welcome!

Located on the corner of Southwestern Minnesota, 26 miles from South Dakota, and 13 miles from the Iowa border is our quaint little town of Adrian.

Founded in 1876 Adrian was a railroad town. The early settlers where centered around agriculture which still holds true today. Its residents are extremely hardworking blue-collar people which are rich in faith and steadfast in their commitment to community.

The public amenities that a campground wait you are a with full hook ups. Newly renovated swimming pool, multiple parks, a gazebo and disc golf. Recently added P10 Outdoor Archery Range that include a stationary course with an elevated shooting platform & 3D course. And for you dog lovers a spacious dog park.

Faith runs deep in the community. We are blessed to have the Protestant Churches and St Adrian Catholic Church which is on the historical registry. All residents and visitors are welcome.

At the south end of town is the Adrian Country Club . A nine-hole golf course with 18 t-boxes which allows 2 different approaches per hole. Rolling hills and plush greens make for a great outdoor experience.

Adrian has an active retail center. Located in the heart of town it features banking; insurance, real estate, clothing, meat locker, barber & beauticians, hardware store, pharmaceutical, auto service, bar & restaurant, construction companies and other businesses supporting the agriculture industry. The local clinic is also available for all your health care needs.

The community is fortunate to be protected by Adrian Fire Department (volunteer), Adrian Ambulance (volunteer) and Adrian Police Department. They ensure that you will have a safe experience while visiting. Adrian Town and Country, Adrian Community United and the American Legion are Adrians organizations to partake in if you see fit. We are extremely proud of our public school. Adrian Community Schools have a high standard in academics and athletics. Definitely a beacon of light in our community.

Our yearly town celebration is in July. "Christmas in July" is a good ole-fashioned town celebration.

A parade and lots of other activities await you. This year is our 150th celebration. The sesquicentennial is a must attend.

We look forward to your visit and welcome you to the place we call home!

Sincerely,

Steven Kellen
