Grass Hay Available (42 acres)

The City of Adrian is seeking bids to cut and harvest forty-two (42) acres of grass hay.  The City reserves the right to limit the harvesting of grass hay to one cutting, dependent on weather and area conditions.  A map of the area is available, and a copy can be obtained at Adrian City Hall.

Sealed bids must be received at Adrian City Hall on or before Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. and will be opened at that time.

One quote, for all 42 acres, will be awarded after Monday April 28, 2025.  The awarded bidder will sign an agreement indemnifying the city of potential risk.  The bidder will also provide a certificate of insurance which proclaims the City of Adrian as additional insured for liability and worker’s compensation coverage (if worker’s compensation applies).  Payment will be received upon the commencement of the agreement.  The City reserves the right to reject any proposal and to waive for technicalities and irregularities.
